When you create an app, you will receive a rate limited beta key, which is suitable for most use cases. These beta keys are rate limited to a maximum of 100 API calls an hour. When your app is ready to go live with higher traffic, you can submit an application to upgrade your beta key to production. If your application meets our criteria, someone from the GIPHY team will reach out to discuss a custom pricing.
