Welcome to GIPHY's 2021 Editorial Calendar!
Here are 3 easy steps for getting started:
-
Review the calendar and choose events that resonate with your brand and audience
-
Create GIFs, Clips, Stickers & Stories that align with your chosen events and upload publicly to your brand channel
-
Remember to upload in advance of the holiday. We recommend uploading at a minimum of 2-3 business days prior to the event and in some cases (for example, New Year’s, Halloween, Valentines Day, etc) even earlier as users will be searching for content weeks in advance. Always remember to tag your uploads so they're discoverable on GIPHY.com and everywhere we are integrated!
This calendar has been designed to help partners take advantage of high traffic moments on GIPHY throughout the year. However, not all events will make sense for your brand, and that's OK! There’s a lot to choose from and we recommend partners pick moments that feel authentic to your brand.
Pro-tip: Any day can be a holiday! We also recommend creating content for the days of the week and for the months which are high volume searches on GIPHY. For example: “Happy Friday” or “Hello August”!
Please note that we cannot guarantee trending at this time, content rating rules apply and the calendar is subject to change.
